Community Indoor Walking Program
DASD offers an indoor walking opportunity to community members November through April. To access this program, community members must complete the Community Indoor DASD Walking Program Release & Waiver form, complete a DASD background check, and pay a $10 fee to obtain a DASD walking badge. The DeForest Area School District primarily serves the rural-suburban communities of DeForest and Windsor, along with portions of seven other municipalities in a 100-square-mile area: Bristol, Burke, Hampden, Leeds, Vienna, and portions of Madison and Sun Prairie.
The DeForest area offers all the peace and quiet of rural Wisconsin while remaining within easy reach of our state’s bustling capital city. We are conveniently located along the interstate just 15 minutes north of Madison and 35 minutes south of Wisconsin Dells.
