The driveway behind the school will be used for bus drop off/pick up only. All parent drop off/pick up will be done at the front of the school (Lexington Avenue). View video for Yahara drop off & pick up
Here are some key procedures:
- When dropping off in the morning, we will be using the north side of Lexington Parkway and not the U-shaped drive. When using Lexington, please pull as far forward as possible.
- Please do not leave your car unattended in the drop-off area at arrival and dismissal times.
- Parking on the north and south side of Lexington Parkway will not be allowed during drop off/pick up times.
- Please only have your child exit on the passenger side. They should never exit on the driver side into traffic.
- No parking is allowed on the south side of Lexington. This limits people from walking through traffic.
- Those needing to park for an extended period of time prior to the start of school are asked to park on Eagle Nest or Old Indian Trail.
- Once drop off is done, you can park on the north side of the road (8:15-2:30 pm).
- The back parking lot is for staff only.
- Handicapped parking is available during the school day (after 8:10 and before 2:40) in the U-shaped drive and there is a space in the back staff parking lot that may be used at any time with a handicap permit. Contact the school office if you have questions.
- Staff will continue to provide supervision for students in both the back (bus) and front (parent) drop-off and pick-up areas.
- U turns are not permitted in front of the school.
