Safety & Operations |
The Safety & Operations Team is tasked with supporting the district's educational objectives while fostering an environment that contributes to student success. This enables instructional staff and students to focus on teaching, learning, and maximizing student achievement. We pride ourselves on the partnerships we have created with our community including local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and emergency management. This allows us to prepare for and provide effective and timely responses to any critical incident.
The Safety & Operations Team is also responsible for protecting the community's investment through responsible management and upkeep of our school facilities. This includes ensuring the efficient execution of custodial, maintenance, and groundskeeping activities. We accomplish this through data driven long range planning that maximizes the use of our resources to extend the life of our facilities.

Pesticide statement
When the grass and weeds are actively growing, certified district personnel will be applying pesticides, as needed, when the weather and facility schedules allow for it. Treatment will include fence lines, ornamental beds, building foundations, sign posts, utility boxes and poles, infield skinned areas, etc.
Applications will generally take place on weekends, but some applications may take place after school is out for the day if the facility use and/or field use schedules allow for it. (po8431)
